1.Global Society of Technical Education Memberships are available in two categories, Student membership and Employee membership each of which have specific rights and benefits in relation to networking events, functions, sponsorship and branding activities facilitated by the Global Society of Technical Education. 2. The term of your Membership commences from the day of acceptance of your Application by the society and continues until you leave the society end of the financial year of the applicable calendar year in which your Membership commenced (Membership Term). 3. Membership Benefits and no refund policy: Memberships paid fees are non-refundable or non-transferable. These Terms apply to both Membership categories, except where expressly stated otherwise. Membership benefits must not, without the prior written consent of the society, be transferred, assigned or offered at a premium to a third party or, except as expressly permitted under specific 4. Membership Benefits can be used for competitions and events, or to enhance the demand for other quality technical engineers. If a Membership is used in breach of this condition, the Membership may be suspended or cancelled by the society at its sole discretion without a refund. 5. Membership fees for your membership will apply and will be payable in accordance with the rules and regulations of the society. 6. For any Event attended by a Member which is above or in addition to its Membership Benefit entitlements, training fees will be apply to each program paid on the Event day. 7. The Company acting reasonably and by notice to the Member in writing is entitled to vary the annual Membership fee at the time of renewal of your Membership for a further Membership Term under clause. 8. The above payments shall be charged to or paid from the method nominated as a member of your Application. If the Company (or its nominee) is unable for any reason whatsoever to charge any of the above fees to be paid from your credit card/direct debit facility as and when it is entitled to in accordance with these Terms. 9. Membership fees will not be discounted or refunded if a Membership commences after Events to which Members are ordinarily entitled to attend have already occurred, if a Member elects not to attend such Events, or the opportunity to use Membership Benefits has otherwise expired or elapsed.
